Stone Church Station

Discovered 30 years ago in the asteroid belt of the Sigma Ayur system, many asteroids were found to have been carved out by some civilization for habitation but never used. Corridors, doorways, windows, and rooms were cut directly into the rock of the asteroids but that is all. Archaeological teams thus far have been unable to find any indication of which culture did the work. No designs, writings, glyph or technology of any sort has been found. 10 years ago Starfleet decided Stone Church, as it became to be known, would be an ideal location for a fortified fleet yard.
